I like to post finished items to deviantART, so you kind of miss out on a lot of other things I post. I'm going to have an increase in activity due to work shift change and no school! So posting this as a head up beforehand.

What an awesome week its been! I've been able to do a bunch of stuff art wise, I can only hope for a long day tomorrow doing concept designs. Well, of course I got to go help my grandpa & grandma with some yard work first, haha. But that should be fun too, I love helping them out when I can!

And not only gay marriage, but CIVIL UNIONS. Civil fucking unions got banned in North Carolina. This has stopped becoming a religious issue and has become a down right hate crime against gays and lesbians. This is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Every man should be equal and free, a woman should be able to have a woman partner, same with men! I can understand marriage not being applicable to gays and lesbians (since it is a church/religious institution), but civil unions. That's what get's me the most.
People are basically saying, "We don't like that you like that, so we're banning it, lol sryz xoxo fuck you". IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, DON'T BOTHER  WITH IT. I don't like onions, but I don't want to ban onions because I'm sure somewhere in this world someone actually likes onions. It shouldn't be my place to ban them.
This just doesn't make sense to me, why some people go out of their way to make sure someone can't be with someone they love. This is wrong.
OH OH, AND THEY THREW A PARTY CELEBRATING THE PASSAGE OF THE BAN AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE. AS IF THIS IS SOME BIG LEAP IN HUMAN EVOLUTION.

Heading to Ohio for the next 4 days, when I get back I'll be sure to make more and more art! This past week has been taking up that time with cramming homework, working, and packing!
